How to increase RAM of your Android Device

What does RAM do and why do I need it for my android?

RAM is the most essential part of any processing machine. It saves the address of any program that is being executed or processing in the background.
It also saves the memory of that program temporarily (as a temporary storage device) which makes the system easy to detect a specific program from a small amount of space to focus on. When new files are added to the ROM or Storage memory of a device, the files are placed by allocating an address through RAM into the hard disk or Permanent storage.
The more we have RAM, the more space will any app get to run its files and create and delete new and old files. The RAM works continuously when any app is launched, the app moves into RAM, it gets its space, it starts the processing picking files from the RAM. Let’s say we start any android game, like asphalt 8. The game boots up, the files starts to load in the RAM, it will check for free space in RAM either it is sufficient or not, and what are the addresses that are currently empty, this processing takes milliseconds, but for speed, increase in milliseconds is also a greater issue. After finding space, the game starts to allocate files and the system starts to pick them from the RAM. The system also need RAM to work so if there is more empty space it will also work properly. For seamless experience from a game with 1 GB or more data, you require at least 1.5 GB or more RAM, because near about 300 to 400 MB of RAM is taken by the system itself to run your device.
In older devices, there used to be only 256 or 512 MB of RAM which was great for that time but is useless at present time. Devices with 3-4 GB RAM are also available these days and those poor old devices doesn’t have any turbo charger to make them really fast to be compared to those flagship devices. But hey, you can at least make them enough quick to give you a decent experience even if you are using newer apps or games.

Why Again?

Here are some points that will clear your idea on why you had to increase your android device’s RAM in the first place.
  • To have a seamless gaming experience
  • Lag free device
  • To overheating issues
  • To show others how much RAM you’ve got :-P
  • To be able to play large games
  • To have useful apps in your older devices without  device hanging
  • To make your device faster in daily use.
