Letv Le 1s: Must Read Review Pro's and Con's

At the time of buying, it was on me which device to have and I was utterly confused between Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, Lenovo K4 Note and Letv Le 1s.

I tried booking the Xiaomi Redmi note 3 32 Gb version, but it wasn't available, only 16 Gb models were available, sim slot was also hybrid, so whether I had to chose single sim and SD card, or I have to sacrifice my wish of more storage.

Lenovo K4 Note was also of 16 Gb internal memory and 3 Gb RAM variant was only available with this model, 32 Gb memory will have only 2 Gb of RAM. Processor speed was also less. So I thought let's just give 'Letv Le 1s' a chance.

Now for Letv Le 1s, this device runs on 3 Gb of Ram, a 2.2 GHz Octa-Core Mediatek Helio X10 Processor, 32 Gb of internal memory (no memory card slot), 13 MP rear camera with F2.0 aperture and 5.0 MP front camera, fingerprint sensor, dual sim (micro + nano), corning gorilla glass 3, 403 ppi, 5.5 inch Full-HD screen, USB Type C cable and connector, Fast Charging support and fast charger, Android 5.0 Lollipop with custom UI, i.e., EUI and a 3000 mAh battery.

I ordered Letv Le 1s 3 times and cancelled it the first two times due to reviews of overheating which were all over the Flipkart website under this phone. I was depressed and thought maybe I should wait for a while for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 32 Gb model, but at last I thought that mobile is not a life long companion, it will be with you for maximum 2-3 years only. So finally, the delivery was made.

I recieved it a day before the delivery date and was really happy with the device. I recieved the device on 30th march and on July 09, 2016, I am reviewing it here. So now I will share my experience by discussing the pro's and con's of the device.

PRO's

1. Metallic Body: the device has a metallic body which makes it feel expensive and luxurous.

2. No Extra Overheating: No such overheating issues as saw in comments, minor overheating issues which can be experienced in any device with regular gameplay or fast-charging.

3. Robust Body: the phone survived 3-4 4-feet falls, the edges got dents but all over the device was intact.
4. excellent fingerprint sensor: works everytime from the day I had set it up.

5. No lags till date: Phone worked fine in every condition, played multiple hours of games like N.O.V.A. 3, Asphalt 8 Airborne, Justice League and many more, the device runs smoothly everytime.

6. Control Centre: the control centre which is mostly similar to iPhone Control centre is itself a remarkable addition, if you get this device, I am sure you will not feel like going back to traditional android.

CON's

1. The USB Type-C Cable: The cable I got with this device was the worst ever quality of cable I got with such a wonderful device. The manufacturing material of the cable was of poor quality and it broke from the edges within a week of purchasing and using the device.

2. sharp edges: I hate its sharp edges, the later Letv Le 1s Eco model has a little smooth edges but this one, Letv Le 1s has so sharp edges that I can file fingernails, even cut paper with this(believe me its not a good thing).

3. Camera: the camera quality was reviewed that it has improved after the update from Letv servers, but I was disappointed with the poor performance of the camera even after the update. my previous devices, Sony Neo V and Micromax Canvas 2.2 had even better cameras than Letv Le 1s.

4. Too many Bloatwares: bloatwares are those apps which are preinstalled by the company manufacturers for the promotion of the company and the apps. there are too much, believe me, too much of these apps.

5. Ram: From 3 Gb RAM, only 1.2 Gb is only available for users, rest is used up by the preinstalled apps and system process.

6. Low Volume: there is only one speaker in this device which doesn't give much boost to volume, the total volume  of this device is not much loud.

well, this is all I noticed, I hope this will help you for your next purchase. please like and share my review if you find helpful.
